We started judging in The Meemic Foundation’s latest Meemic Masterpieces art contest. It was the first step in finding 50 winners among more than 2,500 applications. And it sure isn’t an easy process – so many talented students out there! Tough decisions had to be made.

After last summer’s successful mural painting, Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) asked us back to further brighten up the hallways for the kids who attend Head Start. And we were glad to do it.

Several Meemic employees and agents, along with some local teachers, presented a fun “Quarantine Talent Show” to keep up spirits.

Compliments are free, yet priceless, gestures. A gray day can be turned into a positive one with a compliment. We set up a board for Copliment Day.

The Meemic Foundation partnered with Defeat the Label and the Avondale School District to host the Rally4Change, to empower students and families as they rallied in support of anti-bullying, and creating a culture of kindness and diversity in their schools and communities.

Several employees throughout Meemic joined in the National Wear Red Day campaign to help raise awareness of heart disease in women.

Meemic celebrated Take Your Action Figure to Work Day with heroes who are also teachers.

Meemic would like to offer a hearty congratulations to Heather Duenas, the winner of this year’s Meemic Insurance Company Scholarship for Teacher Education at Oakland University in Rochester, MI.

It looks like the Canada geese are on to us and now just want to chill out with the decoy dogs here at Meemic headquarters. They seem to be hanging out a lot more this year.

It was Ugly Sweater Day here at Meemic. We even had a contest, with the winner getting all the bragging rights.
